It was a successful day at Glen Innes for CMR as SOOKEYSIE broke her maiden and AYTOBE won the 2023 Glen Innes Cup.

Race Report - Sookeysie

Jasper Franklin has been a welcome addition to the riding ranks and we have shared plenty of success recently with the talented apprentice. The lightly raced Sooboog mare Sookeysie deserved her win today and we always enjoy training winners for Werrett Bloodstock.

Race Report - Aytobe

The country cup racing circuit is always hotly contested and today was no different as Aytobe contested the Glen Innes edition. He was sent out a short priced favourite and at the 200m marker the race was in the balance as the field let rip. Matthew McGuren rated him beautifully connections were rewarded with the 2023 Glen Innes Cup.
